I take refuge in You O Lord,
Let me never be put to shame;
Righteousness rescues to afford,
Reason I constantly proclaim.

Incline Your ear listen to me,
Be a rock as a strong fortress;
My refuge rescue speedily,
House of defense in times of stress.

You are my fortress and my rock,
As You lead me for Your name’s sake;
Guide me on the path where I walk,
Ever vigilant till I wake.

You rescue me out of the net,
The snare that they’ve hidden for me;
You have comforted not to fret,
Whenever You have heard my plea.

You are my strength O Lord my God,
To You my spirit I commit;
Because I will honor and laud,
You made me spiritually fit.
