Across the water’s surface so clear,
Reflecting light so bright and dazzling.
Like a diamond being twisted in front
Of a beam of pure light

Colours sprayed across the sky.
A sense unknown mysteries
A wonder to the eye
Only being there could explain.

Sitting in a small vessel we call life,
upon such a sea of fragile glass.
There seems to be times when
life reflects just as light reflects.

Ripple upon ripple seems to change the surface.
Yet it does not change the waters there.
It just reflects in a different way.
as God light shines on all of us.

Ripples are the circumstances
that come our way, and yet,
God still wants to reflect
His unfailing love towards us
