Forty Days of Teshuva 2026

Get on Yahweh’s Calendar
and Celebrate His People’s Holidays

Days of Teshuva 8/13/2023 thru 9/11/2026
Description: The forty days of Teshuva are days of repentance, reflection, and restitution.
Key Scriptures: Joel 2:13, Ezekiel 14:6, 2 Peter 3:9 – “Tear your heart . . . and turn to Yahweh, your God; for he is gracious and merciful.”
Key Words: Repentance, Turn Away, Return
Actions: Admit wrong doings and past shortcomings, renounce them, and make a firm resolution to change in the future. Teshuva requires restitution to the wronged party and a promise not to repeat the offense. Make every effort to return to an un-fallen or sinless state.
Fulfillment: Fulfillment happens at Yom Teruah, when the names are written in the Books Of Judgments And Of Life.

Dates Of Repentance: 1sth Day of 6th Month (Elul – August / September) – Elul 1 to Tishri 10
The Ten Days Of Awe: Tishri 01 to Tishri 10

According to the new moon date/time, Elul 1 begins August 12, 2026 @ 8:37 PM – therefore the calculated dates for Teshuva 2026 are August 13th thru September 11th, 2026.
The Days of Teshuva begin at sunset Wednesday, August 12 and ends at sunset Friday, September 11.

Acts 2:19-21 – “And I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke; The sun will become dark and the moon blood before the great and fearful Day of Yahweh comes. And then, whoever calls on the name of Yahweh/Yeshua will be saved.” [See Joel 2:30-32]

We are living in interesting times just before the return of Yeshua to resurrect the dead FIRST, then rapture his Bride – both events that are considered by some to be part of the Yom Teruah moed – the next set appointment on Yahweh’s Calendar.

The Heavenly Lineup
Numerous people have exclaimed that “experiencing a six-planet alignment, a total solar eclipse, and the peak of the Perseid meteor shower all within a single 24-hour window on August 12, 2026, is an exceptionally rare cosmic coincidence.” Are these signs which will happen beginning on the first of Elul one of his wonders in the heavens warning us about his imminent return or just coinkydink? You decide!!

• The Six Planet Alignment: The six planets that will be in alignment are Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. This event occurs just before dawn, and should be visible between 5:28–5:46 AM in Los Angeles.
• The Total Solar Eclipse: The solar eclipse takes place later in the day and will cross Greenland, Iceland, and parts of Spain.
• The Perseid Meteor Shower: The peak of the meteor shower begins after sundown and lasts overnight into August 13. This shower could present up to 100 meteors per hour, it is claimed.

The Rarity of the Event
The junction of a planetary alignment, a total solar eclipse, and the peak of a major meteor shower, is rare in itself. But for these three events to also be in conjunction with the start of the Jewish month of Elul isn’t just rare, it is unique and is being described as a “once-in-a-lifetime” event! Just coinkydink? You decide!!

The Significance
The significance of the Heavenly events coinciding on August 12th is that they fall exactly on Rosh Chodesh Elul – the New Moon of Elul that begins the Jewish month of repentance leading up to Yom Teruah, Yom Kippurim, and Succoth, rather than another Hebrew month. So again, we ask; Just coinkydink? You decide!!

Mark Biltz (El Shaddai Ministries) adds these historical events to the mix:
1. Moses ascended Mount Sinai on the first of Elul to receive the second set of tablets after the sin of the Golden Calf and remained there forty days before descending on Yom Kippur with Divine forgiveness secured.
2. Jonah arrived at Nineveh on the first of Elul and remained there for forty days before entering his Sukkah on the Feast of Tabernacles seeing if Divine forgiveness was secured.
3. Yeshua went into the Wilderness on Elul 1 for Forty Days coming out on Yom Kippur to begin His Ministry of being the Passover lamb securing forgiveness for the entire world!

Conclusions

Final Thought for 2026
• The season of the birth pains is here – keep maintaining an attitude of gratitude.
• The prophetic signs continue to unfold in an escalating pattern as foretold by the Hebrew prophets.
• History is moving extremely quickly towards the one world government, financial system, and religion.
• Time is incredibly short – Yeshua Ha’Mashiach is coming soon – so be of great cheer and keep looking up.
• Be sure you are believing The Truth, not The Lie – get busy reaching the lost.
• Be sure Yeshua is your Redeemer, King, and High Priest, and your sins are forgiven.
