Those who trust in the Lord are like,
Cannot be moved as Mount Zion;
They are abiding forever,
And stand like a roaring lion.

Mountains surround Jerusalem,
So, the Lord surrounds His people;
Forevermore He will condemn,
The foes that invades His temple.

For the scepter of the wicked,
Shall never rest upon the land;
That the righteous had been gifted,
Is solid rock on where they stand.

Lest the righteous stretched out their hand,
In doing wrong and not for good;
Solid rock becomes sinking sand,
If regret is not understood.

Those who turn away from evil,
Are leading away from the Lord;
As they will follow the devil,
God turns His back as they’re ignored.

Peace will come upon Israel,
Those who trust are like Mount Zion;
Jerusalem firm on the hill,
Guarded by a roaring lion.
