God Himself will search for His sheep,
And He will be seeking them out;
Because the Lord will never sleep,
Until any stray is about.

As a Shepherd seeks out His flock,
When he’s amongst them that scattered;
He’ll be continuing to walk,
Till all the strays are acquired.

He will seek them out to rescue,
Been scattered on a day of clouds;
Or in thick darkness to pursue,
Regardless of how much it shrouds.

He’ll bring them out from the people,
Bringing them into their own land;
To gather them in His temple,
As the Lord their God does command.

He will feed them on the mountain,
In the inhabited places;
Quenching their thirst from a fountain,
Comfort them with His good graces.

He will feed them with good pasture,
On mountain heights on grazing land;
Relaxed and enjoying nature,
And protected by His strong hand.

God Himself will be their Shepherd,
He Himself will make them relax;
Assured safety from a leopard,
Or from a poacher that attacks.

He will seek the lost that have strayed,
As He strengthens the sick and weak;
He will destroy who disobeyed,
Feed judgment to pagans that speak.
