Let your love be genuine,
Holding fast to what is good;
Loathe evil in being sin,
Be ethical as you should.
Be kind to one another,
With brotherly affection;
By humbly showing honor,
For a loving reflection.
Do not be slothful in zeal,
Be fervent in your spirit;
Let the Christ inside reveal,
Serving the Lord in merit.
Be patient in affliction,
Continue instant in prayer;
Rejoice through tribulation,
Causing your spirit to stir.
Bestow for necessity,
Unto the needs of the saints;
Showing hospitality,
In giving without restraints.
