Dear One, let me reassure you that the impossible does not exist with God. If in doubt, only recall the miraculous splitting of the Red Sea. Israel made it to the Red Sea only to face a crisis. With 600 chosen war chariots plus all the others and a massive sea pursuing them, how could they not be defeated? (Exodus 14:5-9)
The Israelites had something the Egyptian army did not. They had a leader who had ridiculous faith in God. Moses knew exactly what to do because he had a remarkable history with the Lord. The Almighty had saved and rescued him when his mother placed him in a basket and set it adrift on the Nile River to save his life. She even cared for her child after being found by an Egyptian princess, the daughter of Pharaoh. (Exodus 2:1-11).
God chose him to be a leader despite his own doubts about his ability to lead. Likewise, Moses saw the Almighty deliver Israel through the ten plagues that devoured the Egyptians. Because of these and other miracles God performed, Moses did not buckle under fear when the Egyptian army drew near. He stepped out in faith and trusted God no matter the outcome.
Dear One, sometimes, God does not remove our problems, but He will make a way to get through them. Whatever your struggles, hardships, and challenges may be, He might not move the unmovable mountain, but he will remove the obstacle. When Israel arrived at the Red Sea, Scripture tells us they were terrified at the sight of those chariots. Doubt overwhelmed them, and they began to complain. Moses, not knowing how everything would unfold, obeyed the Lord and told the people to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. He assured them that the army they saw before them—they would never see again. Now that's faith in God that makes absolutely no sense! (Exodus 14:5-9)
Where did Mose get such Moxy? It came from a flawless record with the Lord. What does your record with Him look like? I challenge you to recall only one time God made a way when everything seemed inconceivable for something good to happen. Can you see it? Do you recall how nervous and afraid you were before the answer came? You might have almost given up on your faith. And suddenly, God parted the Red Sea and turned it around for your greater good.
It may be difficult for some to believe that God can do the impossible. Dear One, His power has no limits, while His love for you knows no boundaries. Beloved, He is the same today, tomorrow, and forevermore. What the Lord did back then, He will surely do again. He still tears down walls. He still rolls stones away. He can still multiply two fish and five loaves. God even still raises the dead. God may not remove your challenges, but what is impossible for others is possible for God. (Matthew 19:26)
