Poetry
The gentle waves are rolling into the shoreline, and someone waits on the sand by a crackling fire. The savory smell of fish cooking lifts into the air, and the Master anticipates the boat appearing. Into the fisherman’s hands, he plans to drop a miracle. A bountiful catch when seeming impossible. A lesson to be learned and mercy given, even when that one fisherman feels unworthy.
“Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love, according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions.” Psalm 51:1
