Rejection settles in the cold, dark cave. Even the mention of light seems shrouded in the night of loneliness. A gentle glimmer of hope seeps through the devastation. A kind smile and an outstretched hand build trust. Will I find the strength to embrace this togetherness? In the moment's stillness, I grasped the hand. I understand I am not alone.
“fear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
