.What do you think would be the best desire of a drowning person? I believe that it will be someone or something to rescue him. Do you think he will want the rescue operation to be deferred until another day or time? This is so with being saved from Satan, sins and the world system.

Today is the day of Salvation, tomorrow may be too late. Deferment of salvation is very dangerous. The reason being that it can slip away from the person given the grace to be saved. Salvation is a need of every mankind, John 3:16.

An influential man had the uncommon grace to embrace the truth to be saved and he missed it.

The Scripture records,
"And after some days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was Jewish, he sent for Paul and heard him concerning the faith in Christ." Acts 24:24.

"Now as he reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and answered, “Go away for now; when I have a convenient time I will call for you.” Acts 24:25.

He demanded to be given a convenient time that never came. There no record in the Scriptures that he later called Paul, the Apostle, to hear the words of salvation.

The truth remains,
"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”Acts 4:12.
It is only the name of the Lord Jesus Christ that can save every soul, who is ready at the right time, which is now.
For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." 2 Corinthians 6:2

Beloved, are you saved? If yes, continue to maintain your relationship with the Lord your God forever. Otherwise, you need to embrace the Lord as your Savior. You only need to confess your sins and forsake them. Accept and confess the Lord as your Lord and Savior. Obtain a copy of the Holy Bible for meditation and application. Join the assembly of Bible believing assembly of children of God for growth. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
