Do You Waver?

Determination rose on Ari’s face. Even as a small lion, he would not give up on his quest. Ari did not waver as he proceeded with a definite course of action against the impending attack on his pride from their fierce enemies, the leopards.  

This behavior caused reactions to surface from the other lions in his pride. The fear and doubt of others concerning his plan did not deter Ari. He made his decision based on his conviction. The simple act of deciding and following through makes a leader. 

Situations will arise and cause you to doubt yourself or be fearful of the outcome, but you must stay the course. Ari’s decision fueled his courage and enabled him to act.

The difference between success and failure is the skill to decide. All leaders have this operating in their lives. They can decide and then act.

Determination means, “a definite line of action, unwavering, firm, purposeful, to decide.” Do you waver? Perhaps you find yourself in that place of uncertainty all too often. Would you like to stand firm, decide without hesitating, and then move forward with confidence?

Ari did not arrive at his place of leadership overnight. He traveled far on his journey before he could experience determination rising on his face. Ari remained resolute even when challenged. He affected many lives, not only in his own pride of lions but in the lives of his enemies as well.

It all begins when you decide. If you find yourself confused, unclear, or lacking direction, then decide. Make your decision with confidence and move forward with action. Trust God will lead you; trust you can be a leader, then determination will rise on your face. You will be shown the way, the way of leadership.
