Putting First Things First
Who cries out for our innocent children?
The period since the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, spans approximately 2.5 years (from October 7, 2023, to mid-March 2026). Reliable estimates for abortions in the United States during this timeframe draw primarily from the Society of Family Planning’s #WeCount project and complementary data from the Guttmacher Institute, which track clinician-provided abortions (including in-person and telehealth medication abortions) across the national landscape post-Dobbs.
Annual figures indicate:
• 2023: Approximately 1.03 to 1.06 million abortions (Guttmacher estimates around 1.03 million; #WeCount slightly higher at about 1.06 million).
• 2024: Approximately 1.14 million abortions (#WeCount data).
• 2025: Monthly averages rose to around 98,600–99,000 abortions (with the first half of 2025 totaling 591,770, implying a full-year projection exceeding 1.18 million if trends continued).
To estimate abortions from October 7, 2023, onward:
• For the final quarter of 2023 (October–December): Monthly averages were around 88,000 (based on 2023 yearly data), yielding roughly 260,000–270,000 abortions.
• Full year 2024: 1.14 million.
• January to mid-March 2026: Assuming continuation of late-2025 monthly averages (approximately 98,000–99,000), this partial period adds roughly 250,000–300,000 abortions.
Aggregating these yields an estimated total of approximately 2.8 to 3.0 million clinician-provided abortions in the United States since October 7, 2023. These figures reflect increases driven by expanded telehealth access, shield-law provisions, and interstate travel, despite restrictions in certain states.
For child deaths in Gaza over the same period, reports from the Gaza Ministry of Health (widely referenced by UN agencies such as OCHA and UNICEF), Save the Children, and other sources indicate:
• Cumulative child fatalities reached approximately 20,000 by September 2025 (per Save the Children and Gaza Government Media Office data covering nearly 23 months of conflict).
• Post-ceasefire (early October 2025 onward), additional verified child deaths include roughly 100–200 documented cases through early 2026 (UNICEF reports over 100 since the ceasefire began, with further incidents in 2026 adding at least 37 by February, plus hypothermia-related and other indirect deaths).
This brings the total to approximately 20,200–20,500 children killed since October 7, 2023, based on reported figures (noting that verification challenges in conflict zones may affect precision, and totals exclude indirect deaths from malnutrition, disease, or rubble entrapment where data are incomplete).
Direct comparison reveals a substantial disparity: U.S. abortions since October 7, 2023 (estimated 2.8–3.0 million) exceed reported child deaths in Gaza (approximately 20,200–20,500) by a factor of roughly 140 to 150. On an annualized basis, U.S. abortions average over 1 million per year, while Gaza’s child fatalities averaged roughly 8,000–9,000 annually during the primary conflict phase.
Can a Holy Ghost filled, blood bought believer really protest genocide in Gaza and yet support abortion? Awake oh sleeper!
1 Corinthians 15:34
Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
