Where do my days go?
In silence, they pass
Into nothingness
Moving by so fast
How can I find my
Rhythm again
Or the happiness
I once knew when
Free as the bird
Flying on the wind
Through the blue sky
Now how can I
Hold on to my day
Without strength to stay
In the momentum
Of my lost rhythm?
Perhaps these words
Written from my heart
Will slow down time
So, the day will not
Depart as swift
Into nothingness
As I grasp
Once again
The happiness
That lingers there
I will not disappear
But prefer to hear
The birds sing
To bring the
New morning back to me
The bird song
So strong reaching
The ear of God
And reviving my soul
