Author requests article critique

I knocked over a little plastic cup of pills as I groped in the dark for for a drink of water. I turned on the light in my frustration only to find, to my great relief, that the pills 💊💊 had not spilled out of the little cup all over the floor after all, because my wife, in her thoughtful way of attending to details, had put a lid on the cup. And to think I so often try to hurry her past those little matters, as if they don't matter.
