Don't Exclude Yourself From God's Goodness And Salvation

Someone might have the idea that they are too far gone, they have done so much that God's grace is not for them. But, you have to realize that whatever you have done is no longer the issue. The issue now is what Jesus has already done for you, yes you. Romans 5:6 reads, For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. And you clearly see in verse 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus died for the ungodly, while we were still sinners Jesus died for us in our place. He took the punishment that was due to us,for us. Understand what God has already done through Jesus, Jesus bore our sins in his own body on the cross (1 Peter 2:24). And through Jesus what he did it's recorded you did because the scripture says you were baptized/put into him. It's a principle, in Hebrews 7:9-10 it reads, One might even say that Levi, who collects the tenth, paid the tenth through Abraham, 10 because when Melchizedek met Abraham, Levi was still in the body of his ancestor (NIV). Notice the principle, Levi was a descendent of Abraham and because he was in Abraham(he came from him) you could say that when Abraham paid tithes Levi did also because he was in him. And that's what God did, He put everyone that was there and was to come in Jesus so that's how God see's you. So, what Jesus did the scriptures says we did.

In Colossians 2:12,13 it reads, Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses. See, you don't have to be forgiven because God has already forgiven you. Notice, being dead in your sins is a before salvation phrase, because when you receive Jesus the scriptures says you are alive to God in Christ (Rom. 6:11). But, it's not applied to you until you receive Jesus as your Lord and savior. You don't get the benefits of it until you receive him. In Ephesians 2:4-6 it reads, But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Notice, something about God in 2 Peter 3:9 it reads, The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Notice, something else about God in 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. So, please do not exclude yourself from God's goodness and salvation when He has included you.

It is not God's will that any should perish. And I wouldn't want to end this article without giving someone the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen
