Honored to fight my own battles
But am I fighting?
Or only training
Training for reigning
Tell me father if this is my test
Are these real bodies?
Or simply dummies
As I’m waning
This blood on my hands is real
To whom does it belong?
Or is it a sacrifice?
I feel shame
With all my ambitions plans
I have been fighting you
Nailing spikes in deep
And I have seen
Revelation is the blood in my eyes
My world is all for you
But I have tried to steal
Take it father
Father forgive
Father forgave me
Father forgives
Father fight for me

Hi Dave, Your words carry the struggle that we all go through. And yes, it is powerful to know the Father does forgive. This is an awesome poem Dave. Keep writing and sharing how Christ is a winner in you.
HALLELUJAH! HALLELUJAH! Oh, that those who "desire to sit in the high places of the synagogues" would let this sink in!!!! Brother, this is a work that needs to be plastered all over the walls in every church across the nations! Can you imagine every Christian taking an honest look at their hands? Imagine the impact!
