PRAYER IS POWERFUL!
A prayerless Christian, irrespective of whatever cogent excuses, will be powerless to contend and receive the blessings God already gave us. He will be spiritually useless, and end up with lots of problems, becoming a puppet of Satan and a problem to everyone! Any excuse not to pray, is a subtle trap that lures us away from the Lord and His goodness and blessings for us. When we fail to pray, temptation takes us away from God's Word and promises and His will.
Matthew 26.41.
Keep alert, watch and pray. Otherwise temptation will overpower you. For though the spirit is willing enough, the body is weak!"- (until we strengthen it through praying.)
Prayer yields us to the Holy Spirit so that our gifts can flow out selflessly and freely to bless others.
By wholehearted praying, the Holy Spirit helps us die to our selfish, self-centered ways in order to bear much fruit for God's Kingdom that would last and remain.
Prayer delivers us from carnality, addictions, sin and helps beat and overturn demonic attacks and manipulations every time. Prayer, coupled with the sound knowledge of God's Word heals unbelief, opens our hearts to divine insights to enjoy, understand and receive the Word of God enthusiastically.
Prayer exterminates selfishness and self-centeredness, pride, disobedience, stubbornness, lust, sexual immorality and all forms of perversion. And when we add fasting, strongholds are shattered, battered and scattered in the name of Jesus Christ!
Prayer, that's wholesome, earnest and very honest is far better than counseling. Effective, effectual and fervent prayer in faith makes God speak and guide you as your incredible counselor!
Proverbs 3:5,6.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
Psalm 32:8.
The LORD says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.
Prayer makes us repentant, tenderhearted, forgiving and compassionate to help and bless others and never curse anyone. Our fasting, prayer and sacrifices ultimately enable us to OBEY God, and our obedience brings the breakthrough. Absolute obedience is the ultimate! Prayer opens the door to the blessings and breakthroughs, and Christlike character sustains the continued outpouring. Absolute obedience is the ultimate.
Jeremiah 7:21-23.
This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: "Away with your burnt offerings and sacrifices! Eat them yourselves!
When I led your ancestors out of Egypt, it was not burnt offerings and sacrifices I wanted from them. This is what I told them: `Obey me, and I will be your God, and you will be my people. Only do as I say, and all will be well!'
John.14.23.
Jesus replied, "All those who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and live with them.
As Christians, we don't pray AGAINST people, we must love and pray FOR people to receive God's help, and all the benefits and blessings that are in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!
