If we are followers of Jesus, why is it that we still are afraid of things? The world continues to bombard us with it’s worries, and trials. It keeps telling us that we are our past, and we can’t escape the grasp the world has upon us.

What we must do is have a transformation of our heart and soul. Instead of believing what the world tells us we must believe what the Bibie says: we are children of God, our Heavenly Father through the blood Jesus Christ shed at Calvary. That is what is truth and not what the world says about who we are. This requires much work. It really takes no work to be bombarded by the worlds thoughts. Just get out of bed in the morning and the world is there to start with it’s lies about who you are. But if you work at transforming your mind, through prayer, meditation, reading the bible and conversing with other Christians, you will in time see a difference in the way you think and what controls your mind. Do not be afraid of the world because Christ has overcome the world and because you are a son or daughter of the Most High. Be lifted beyond the grave!
