"A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.” 2 Kings 4:1,NKJV.

A certain thing or person is one that can easily be recognized out of many or croud. It or he stands out to be distinguished. Something is usually used to measure or assess it to differentiate it from others.

In the quote above, a woman, among many wives of Ministers of God, separated herself from others to place herself in a chapter of history by taking a unique step.

This woman had a problem that called for an urgent solution. It was a common problem with a special weight. It was a chronic financial problem that almost sent her sons into slavery. The woman had other alternatives that other women could exploit but she chose a different but sure route to solve her problem.

What were the other available ways of getting out of the difficulty? As a woman, she may have wrongly chosen to become a wayward one or to seek a solution from man made gods. These alternatives, and any other like them, are ways to destruction. They would add sorrow to troubles. They are bad options.

As a certain person out of crowd, she chose to contact the Lord and Creator of the Universe through His servant Elisha, verse 2.

To God be the glory, she was not disappointed by her God. She was bailed out of her indebtedness and became a woman of abundance, 2 Kings 4:1-7. How? She was a certain woman among many wives.

Are you a certain woman or man among many. May you take the right decisions at the right time in the name of Jesus Christ. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
