Have you noticed something changing in the last couple of weeks?

Hi, I’m Dr. Timothy and I’m just sayin’ … there seems to be a spiritual shift taking place in the heavenlies!  We have just witnessed a prophetic fulfillment on a scale we haven’t seen before!

The gospel record of Matthew chapter 24 verse 14 records Jesus stating … “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

In Biblical Greek, that phrase “in all the world” means in all the land or, around the globe; and the phrase “all the nations” is from the Greek word “ethnos.” Therefore, “nations” means every ethnic group – or race – of people.

So if you will allow me to read it this way: Jesus said, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the land around the globe as a witness to all races of people, and then the end will come.”

Now I’m sure that many folks may not agree with my perspective on this, but let’s at least consider the following …

In a single day, due to a single very tragic event, a single broadcast was viewed live and then was and still is being re-broadcast and re-streamed to viewers in all the world made up of all races of people! Of course I am talking about the memorial services for Charlie Kirk on Sunday, September 21.

Now, Jesus didn’t say that the gospel of Charlie Kirk would be preached in all the world … He said this gospel of the kingdom would be!

So what are we talking about here?

First, right after Charlie’s assassination, people began talking about our Lord Jesus Christ at a level not seen for many years or, decades actually!

Over the couple of weeks since that tragedy, tens of thousands of souls in America, and many more thousands around the world, have opened their hearts up to the Gospel of Christ, and we haven’t seen something like this in a very long time!

Then, as I watched the social media podcasts and news commentaries it became clear that what was taking place on Sunday, September 21 was something that came very close to - - if not actually fulfilling - - the prophetic words of Christ we just read - and doing so through a single event!

This memorial service was about so much more than the tragic end of Charlie Kirk, it was about the Lord whom Charlie loved and served!

What’s more, this service was both broadcast and streamed to a global audience, and again, while not the only focus, the main emphasis was on Jesus Christ, Whom Charlie served and had elected to be his Lord! The evidence for this - although it was often wrapped in political and social issues - was his consistent message in life that Jesus Christ is Lord and people must call upon the name of the Lord if they are to have everlasting life!

This message was repeated by his widow, and also others, who spoke at the service. So then, through this event, the gospel of Christ literally reached nearly every people group in all the world in a single day! And it won’t take long for the recorded services to be seen by many more around the world who missed the live stream!

Now, of course, not everywhere on planet earth has great internet capability. For that matter, a great part of the planet doesn’t yet have broadcast television either; but Jesus didn’t say His Gospel would be preached to every single person the world over! He said only that His Gospel of the kingdom would be preached to every ethnos - or race of people - in all the world … and then the end would come!

So here’s the point of all this: We may have just watched prophetic history taking place! We may be living in a time of historic prophetic fulfillment at a magnitude that is on par with the re-birth of Israel in 1948!

Again, Jesus did not say that His Gospel would be preached in all the world in a single event in a single day, but wasn’t this close to that very thing happening?

The fact is that Billy Graham’s televised crusades truly reached millions around the world in those broadcasts, but even those audiences pale in comparison! The difference is that today’s technology is so much greater in its reach and delivery on a very global basis. In fact, so much so that this single eulogy, this single memorial service through being broadcast and streamed, and now being re-streamed - reached more people with the message declaring & exalting  Christ Jesus as Lord!

So, in fact, we may have just witnessed an acceleration of the world being brought closer to the return of Christ in a way we didn’t even imagine just a few weeks ago!

What does this mean?

Well, if true, this means we have precious little remaining time to take steps to make disciples, which of course begins with sharing the Gospel to those people groups in our own lives! It means that churches no longer have the luxury of playing spectators to great pastors preaching good sermons! Pastors and ministry leaders no longer have the luxury of making their flocks comfortable with easy messages of assurance!

You see …

In the church buildings and in the world outside, there is taking place a spiritual paradigm shift whereby The Lord is working at a level - -  and in ways - - we have not experienced before! Because we are living in times we have never lived before, and we’re seeing things we have never seen before, and we are dealing with things we have never had to deal with before!

Some believe the Lord may now have given us a reprieve of judgment for a season. Well if He has, I think it is only to more greatly enable us to bear fruit more abundantly - - whereby as His people we are able to glorify Him more abundantly!

Or - all of this could be just another monumentally tragic moment in the history of humanity and everything will soon settle back down to life as normal - you know, with  typical church people barely believing God’s Word to be True, many of God’s people struggling to show God’s Word to be True, and the world’s people rejecting God, refusing to believe God’s Word is really God’s Word … and ridiculing anyone for having faith in this guy called Jesus!

So which is it? Is this just another monumental tragedy that will soon fade away?

Or - - is it a time of historic fulfillment of The Lord’s prophesies?

Only time will tell but be certain that time will tell! But do we really have time to wait and see?

I’m Dr. Timothy and I’m just sayin’ … prayerfully think, and perhaps act, on these things!
