As rain and snow come from Heaven,
Don’t return but waters the earth;
Gives seed the sower has given,
For sprouting and bringing forth birth.

So shall His Word be that goes out,
It won’t return to Him empty;
But accomplish without a doubt,
Rather ripened fruit on a tree.

For you shall go out with delight,
And will be leading forth with peace;
With mountains and hills in your sight,
The songs of joy will never cease.

The trees of the field shall clap their hands,
Instead of thorns shall grow pine trees;
No brier where the cypress stands,
As they are swaying in the breeze.

It shall make a name for the Lord,
An eternal sign not to cease;
As nature be in one accord,
That will be bringing lasting peace.
