At times I sit back and contemplate
Just how this world can be filled with so much hate
A common destination awaits us all
But still many choose to prematurely fall

Tomorrow isn't guaranteed
We all strive for our needs
Each hoping for opportunities
That fulfill a desired reality

Too many living in a fantasy
Getting engulfed in blasphemy
Darkness only exists due to the absence of light
So why increase its growth by choosing to fight

Shine bright the essence of joy
If that's what you wish for it should be what you deploy
There's never a need to be counterproductive
I know the lies out there are pretty seductive

However, you don't need to embrace the ideal
Root yourselves into what is real
We all have commonalities that link us together
Choose kindness it will always result in making things better
