You long for pure spiritual milk,
And grow up into salvation;
For the taste is as smooth as silk,
Of a mature transformation.

If you tasted the Lord is good,
You know that the Lord is gracious;
So many have misunderstood,
The chosen One is so precious.

A living stone that’s rejected,
That has been disallowed by men;
The chosen that God selected,
Many others that did condemn.

Living stones build a sacred house,
Being for a holy priesthood;
A place to worship with your spouse,
And the Lord’s Word is understood.

Sacrifices are acceptable,
To the Father through Jesus Christ;
And no longer susceptible,
To the pleasures that had enticed.

He has laid in Zion a stone,
A dear cornerstone selected;
Once iniquities did atone,
You are no longer rejected.

Whoever believes has no shame,
Rather your faith gives you honor;
For you to proceed to proclaim,
To mature into a fawner.

The stone the builders rejected,
Is made the head of the corner;
The same the Father selected,
That the atheist as the scorner.

A stone of stumbling and an offense,
They stumble since they disobey;
They were destine without defense,
And the reason they gone astray.
