My soul longs for Your salvation,
For hope and faith is in the Word;
It is built on Your foundation,
Every time that it’s read or heard.

My eyes longing for Your promise,
I ask when will You comfort me;
For I am seeking Your justice,
Open my eyes so I can see.

I am like a wineskin in smoke,
But have not forgotten Your Law;
For this land has become so woke,
As if righteousness makes a flaw.

How long must Your servant endure,
When will You judge who persecute;
When will I finally secure,
When will I taste heavenly fruit.

The insolent have dug pitfalls,
All Your commandments are faithful;
They do not live as per Your Laws,
Since they are merely ungrateful.

They persecute me with falsehood,
They have almost made me an end;
Because they have not understood,
How their persecution does offend.

I have not forsaken Your Law,
The principle of Your teaching;
As I await upon Your call,
I continue to go preaching.

In Your steadfast love gives me life,
I keep testimonies from You;
And will keep enduring the strife,
Knowing Your spoken Word is true.
