In my natural mind I had legitimate reason not to make two long drives on the same day, but I knew that I was needed in both places, and I knew that others had been counting on me to be in each place, one in the morning, the other in the afternoon. I made a good case in my mind to eliminate the morning involvement and was about to do just that, but lacked one thing doing that: an inner peace. So I pursued that peace, pushing myself in the process and ignoring my natural reasoning. I presented myself in both places, morning and afternoon. I don't know for sure if there's a connection, but only a day later I received a very generous gift that I didn't expect from that individual that I helped in the morning. Then, later that night, as if in keeping and consistency with all that had happened earlier, when I thought I was all "read-out" and "prayed out" and couldn't fit another thought in my mind or prayer in my spirit, I reached for one more. And the thought and prayer on that final page of the day turned out to be the perfect culmination and summation of the entire day's worth of thoughts and prayers!
