Romans 8:35-39 (KJV) Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

As it is written, for thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Nay, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

If I were to leave you with a word on today, it would simply be: no matter what happens in your life, stay with God.

The challenge that comes with writing these kinds of articles is that they apply to both the writer and the reader equally.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not a figment of man's imagination. It is the creation of God Almighty. As members of the human family, we sometimes forget how much God is involved in our lives. God knows what we're going through now and what we're going to go through in the future. From birth to death, God is in control of every situation that involves humanity.

When you turn on the television or social media, you'll hear stories about the number of jobs that are being lost. The record number of foreclosures that are being reported. Retirement plans that were once promising are now slowly fading away. The American dream is becoming the American nightmare.

Nations are rising against nations. Wars and rumors of wars are on the horizon. People hearts are failing them for fear because they don't know what to do. Regardless of what problems exist around the world, Jesus Christ is the solution.

God knows that life is not easy. He knows that life comes with ups and downs. Regardless of what comes with life, He wants us to stay with Him. The Lord never said we wouldn't go through nothing. The believer's life is a suffering life. It comes with good times and bad times.

We all want everything to be good in life, but that's not realistic. Jesus told his disciples in St. Johm 16:33, in him, they would have peace, but in the world, they would have tribulation. Then He said but be of good cheer because He has overcome the world.

Since Jesus went through tribulation and his disciples went through tribulation, what makes us think we can avoid it? No matter what happens in your life, stay with God.

The truth of the matter is that nothing you will ever go through is worth walking away from God. Especially when He is the only one who can change your situation.

To whom shall we go? Jesus is the only one who has the words of eternal life, and we believe and are sure that Jesus is the Christ, the only begotten Son of the living God.

We did not choose God, God chose us. And since God chose us, we ought to give him the praise.

The Apostle Peter says in 1 Peter 2:9-10 (KJV) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

What a wonderful blessing it is to receive mercies from God. Dead in sin and trepasses, but God chose to give us life. If it had not been for the goodness of God, where would we be?

I find it interesting that knowing the goodness of God yet, we still walk away from Him. Have you ever asked yourself this question. Have you ever considered the thought process that goes into such a decision.

Now, the truth of the matter is that one of the reasons we walk away from God is that we don't believe God. We do believe God exists. However, we don't believe God when it comes to the affairs of our lives.

Furthermore, we walk away from God because God didn't answer our prayer or answer our prayer the way we wanted him to. In addition to this, we become envious of other people blessings because we're not blessed the way they are. Everyone's blessing will be different according to how God chooses to bless.

It's better to go through the issues of life with God than to go through them alone without God. Jesus is a healer and a deliverer. He's able to rescue you in the midst of the storm.

In closing, no matter what happens in your life, stay with God. Because God will never leave thee nor forsake thee. The Lord knows what you need before you realize you have a need.

Put your trust and faith in God because with him, all things are possible. With man, not much is possible. Jesus is the author and the finisher of our faith. He is the first and the last, the beginning and the end. Heaven is his throne, and the earth is his footstool.

So, no matter what happens in life, keep on fighting. Even though you may feel worn out with life, keep on fighting. God has given you the victory over life through Jesus Christ. God bless.
