In a world where opinions and criticisms can be overwhelming, it's essential to remember that God's perspective is the one that truly matters. When it comes to our relationships, health, finances, or any other circumstance, trusting God above man's opinion can be the key to peace, confidence, and divine guidance. Let's explore why God's perspective should take precedence over human opinions.

The Flaws of Man's Opinion

Human opinions are often tainted with flaws such as jealousy, bitterness, selfishness, hatred, and anger. These biases can lead people to offer counsel or criticism that is not only unhelpful but also damaging. In contrast, God's perspective is pure, loving, and filled with wisdom.

God's Perspective: Pure and Unbiased

When God is involved in our relationships or circumstances, His perspective is not clouded by personal agendas or biases. What God brings together, no man can break. In Matthew 19:6, Jesus says, "So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, let no one separate." This underscores the importance of trusting God's perspective in our relationships and circumstances.

Examples from the Bible

1. Abraham and Sarah's Promise: When God promised Abraham and Sarah a child, despite their advanced age, they faced skepticism and doubt from those around them. However, Abraham trusted God's promise, and despite the opinions of others, Isaac was born (Genesis 18:1-15).
2. David and Goliath: When David faced the giant Goliath, the opinions of men were filled with fear and doubt. However, David trusted God's perspective and defeated Goliath with faith and courage (1 Samuel 17:1-58).
3. Joseph's Life Journey: Joseph faced numerous challenges, including being sold into slavery and falsely accused. Despite the opinions and actions of those around him, Joseph trusted God's plan and was ultimately elevated to a position of power in Egypt (Genesis 37-50).
4. Esther's Courage: When Esther was called to approach the king and plead for her people, she faced opposition and fear. However, she trusted God's perspective and took bold action, saving the Jewish people from persecution (Esther 4-7).
5. Paul's Ministry: The apostle Paul faced numerous criticisms and oppositions from those around him. However, he trusted God's perspective and continued to spread the Gospel, establishing churches and advancing the kingdom of God (Acts 13-28).

Conclusion
Trusting God above man's opinion requires faith, courage, and a deep understanding of God's character. When we prioritize God's perspective, we can navigate life's challenges with confidence, knowing that His plans are better than any human opinion. What God brings into our lives, let no man take away. By trusting God above all else, we can experience the peace, joy, and fulfillment that come from following His will.
