Here I believe Jesus is telling us to pray for all that we need each day. We must be dependent on God for that which we need. Notice, here, that I say need, and not want. Each day I pray that God will provide for the needs of everyone. God can do so by providing for everyone’s needs, not to the detriment of anyone else. It is when one’s wants are considered that it could have a detrimental impact on someone else. When we pray that God provide for each person’s needs, we are showing love for all, as God is the true provider to all. Ask God humbly for that which you need every day!
