One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.” Luke 11:1 NIV
It certainly was wise for the disciples to ask the Lord to teach them how to pray. Does your prayer time seem lacking in some manner? Do you truly feel connected to the Lord when you pray? Is your prayer time a list of repeated requests? Prayer time is very important. God wants us to speak with Him and He wants us to listen to what He has to say. If your prayer time is not what you would like it to be, ask the Lord to help you. Read the Lord’s Prayer and ponder what He is saying here. If you truly desire so, He will help you improve your ime of communication with Him.
