Greatest Daddy Ever

For the times I cried out to you
Unable to think or do-
All the dungeons you brought me through,
Lifting my spirit when I was blue,
I nominate you, Daddy.

You wrapped me up and held me close,
Fought off Satan's proffered dose
Of fatal solutions to deepest woes;
From your baby girl, your precious rose:
I love you, my Daddy.

The kids got sick, no-one to tell,
It seemed hopeless, they cheered in Hell,
When praying, on our knees, we fell-
Then You stepped in and made them well,
We thank You, dear Daddy.

There is no name above my Dad's,
On all the TV's, in all the ads,
No famous person can make me glad
When Satan's attacks hurt me so bad,
You're the greatest, Daddy.

Forever and ever, I'll love you most,
Father, Son, and Holy Ghost;
No other One can make me boast,
Joined by all the Heavenly host:
We praise you, Daddy!
