He’s the painter of the world,
the artistic flair in every tree;
He’s the colour of each season,
the air found in each and every breath;
He’s the One who gives love meaning,
the true lover of my soul;
I’m dumbfounded,
that He would die for me!

He’s the promise in each sunrise,
the provider of every blessing,
He’s the strength for my burdens,
the refuge for each and every storm;
He’s the One who gives life meaning,
the true reason I exist;
I’m dumbfounded,
that He would care for me!

He’s the protector of the sparrow,
the holder of Kings and every nation,
He’s my Saviour and my friend,
the answer to each and every prayer;
He’s the One who gives me meaning,
the true purpose for my way;
I’m dumbfounded,
that He would listen to me!

He’s the light despite my shadows,
the green pasture where I rest;
He’s the melody in every tune,
the heartbeat of each and every day;
He’s the One who gives joy meaning,
the true depth of my delight;
I’m dumbfounded,
that He would share with me!

He’s the comfort for my sorrow,
the shelter where I can flourish;
He’s the Creator of each snowflake,
the holder of each and every tear;
He’s the One who gives beauty meaning,
the true healer of my heart;
I’m dumbfounded,
that He would come for me!

He’s the Almighty – like no other,
the God to whom every knee shall bow;
He’s the precious Rose of Sharon,
the Lord of each and every sunset;
He’s the One who gives justice meaning,
the true Alpha and Omega;
I’m dumbfounded,
that He would know my name!

He’s the ransom for my debt
the great I AM, yet still He walks with me;
He’s the perfect way for me to follow,
the sacrifice for each and every sin;
He’s the One who gives grace meaning,
the true blessing of my life;
I’m dumbfounded,
that He would call me son!
