Even while the boy was coming, the demon threw him to the ground in a convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the impure spirit, healed the boy and gave him back to his father. And they were all amazed at the greatness of God. Luke 9:42-43a NIV
In the presence of the many gathered, the demon who possessed the boy, threw him into a convulsion. All this did was magnify the glory of God displayed in Jesus removing the evil spirit from the boy. This caused amazement among those gathered, seeing the power of God displayed. Do you wonder if lives were changed by this healing? I would imagine at least the lives of the family of this boy were changed. God wants to change the lives of sinners. Come to Him and be saved!
