When the voice had spoken, they found that Jesus was alone. The disciples kept this to themselves and did not tell anyone at that time what they had seen. Luke 9:36 NIV
The two other synoptic gospels add that when they came down from the mountain Jesus told them not to share what they had seen until He was raised from death. A few of the incidents that occurred in the life of our Lord were privy to the three disciples, Peter, James and John. Today we see many workings of our Lord which are totally ignored by those who do not believe in Christ. We definitely are blessed as believers in the Lord.
