For Such a Time
This day
the clouds hang dark
over the entire sky
but the light maneuvers its way
to you.
And see,
the shore is there!
You wade through rivers of
Trouble and God's light gets you there
unharmed.
My friend,
you may not see
the way in which to move
but God's light shines for such a time
as this.

Sister, the link to this poem has been just sitting in my inbox, waiting for me to seek after... some kind of comfort from the Lord. You might not ever know how much I needed this right this second... for just exactly such a time. I don't FEEL unharmed... but I know am... just as surely as I know there's healing in the leaves of the trees on this riverside... just as soon as I reach the shore... and, yes, it is, it is in sight. Thank you for enduring whatever you had to in order to reach whatever depth was necessary to write this. May God Almighty reward you accordingly.
