When life intensifies
We tend to realize
That what we despise
Is right in front of our eyes

Situations that arise
Creating pain we didn't authorize
Trying to create our demise
Recentering our focus on what to prioritize

We can't let our love subside
It's what keeps us fueled for the ride
Giving us a firm foundation as a guide
Unconditionally renewing our spirit inside

This journey isn't a simple glide
There is always going to be a swirling tide
Some instances we wish to remain classified
While others we can use for others to be edified
