Some people use this question as their fool-proof excuse to either not believe in God or to "prove" that God doesn't exist. What they don't get is that even if they could be allowed to see the face of Almighty God, they would not be able to live long enough in His presense to dare to ask such a question. And, this is a question that God alone can answer. 

To ask a human being who created God is like asking a baby who created it. Neither do we need to ask the question because it has already been answered. God has given us the answer to this question in His Word. As He told Moses in the book of Exodus, chapter 3, verse 14, "And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and He said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you."

"I AM." Not, "I WAS" or "I WILL BE" but "I AM". That says it all, doesn't it? He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.

The very fact that we cannot possibly ccomprehend this is testimony to the fact that we cannot use our own God-created brain to figure out or comprehend God, much less who created Him. It goes way beyond our ability to reason. So, why not let God be God? He has His secrets.

And although we may not be able to figure God out, we have been given a soul and spirit to be able to connect to God using a precious gift called "faith". 

"For by grace are ye saved through faith: and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God." -Ephesians 2:8

In fact, it's all by faith, not by sight or trying to figure God out by bringing Him down to our level of understanding. Jesus came down to our level for 33 years. He became like a man, laying aside His royal garments. He laid down his life. For us. But now, He is risen. Now, by faith, we can go up to His level. He paved the way to Heaven for you and me. 

Once you are born again spiritually, you must bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of God if you want God to be able to communicate with you and reveal the secrets of the universe. And He will, if you're willing to listen. God loves to give to us more than we love to receive. Isn't that obvious to the casual observer? He spoils us with love!
