Poor Aunt Bea…

Her large freezer was on the blink and she was in jeopardy of losing costly stored meat. What could she do to keep it from spoiling? In desperation, Bea stacked meat into Opie’s little wagon and sent him to the local butcher shop. The owner had willingly agreed to store the haul in his walk-in-freezer.

Poor Opie…

Neighborhood dogs got a whiff of thawing meat and began trailing along the wagon. Opie not only had to keep meat from falling off his wagon but to keep hungry dogs from following.

Christ is seeking faithful followers.

He gives us the responsibility and privilege of conveying and teaching the meat of His Word.

“For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil (Hebrews 5:12-14 KJV).”
