=In one form or another, many who profess to be Christians have fallen to the tactics of the Devil. May the Lord raise them so that they may walk with the Lord for the rest of their lives.

The plan of God for man was to have dominion over all that He created, Genesis 1:26. That was the initial position of man in creation. He was to represent His Maker and continue the work of creation from what God had created.

Mankind chose, as it was in the garden, to bow down to the Devil by taking instructions from him. Since then, he has been worshiping the Devil and continues to do so.

It is sad that those who are to be separate, Christians, are not left out. Directly or indirectly, they bow down to Satan and worship him. By so doing, they lose their power to dominate the works of God's hands. Instead, they chose to worship them and went ahead to do so to the works of their hand.

They chose, elevated, and allowed these to dominate them. They brought themselves under their control. It is a sad thing that such people still claim to be Christians. Are they following Him at all or indeed? They have reached a point of "It does not matter". They have become servants to two Masters. Can they be said to be faithful to the Lord their God?

All those who fall and worship the works of God's hands ditto the works of their hands are like them, deaf, dumb, blind, and lame in every way, Psalm 115:4-8.

In verse eight, it is disclosed, "They that make them are like unto them; so is everyone that trusts in them.

The words of Prophet Jeremiah confirm this in chapter 5:21, as he describes them as "foolish people, and without understanding".

Sadly, followers of Christ are involved in various ways and forms. They do so, knowingly or unknowingly. These dangerous replacements include food, clothing, business, and so on. Beloved, anything that displaces God from the number one position in a Christian heart is a god representing the Devil controlling the person. Whatever you fall for has dominion over you.

Let me not fail to state that, it is not forbidden to eat food, have clothes, do business, and so on. The warning is that Christians should not allow anything else to take over the place of the Lord Jesus Christ in their lives. May the Lord help you to maintain your position before the Lord forever in Jesus' name. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
