When the apostles returned, they reported to Jesus what they had done. Then he took them with him and they withdrew by themselves to a town called Bethsaida, Luke 9:10 NIV
After the disciples returned, reporting to Him all which they had done, He took them with Him and withdrew. I imagine Jesus wanted to have some quiet time with them, and a time for more teaching for them. Jesus knew that He would not be with these men a long time and that when He left they would need to be prepared to carry on with the spreading of the message from God. Time to withdraw with these men did not usually last very long, as Jesus was in high demand.
