America Is Becoming A Tough Town

In attempting to make some sense of the terrible comments of the national on-line response to the recent murder of Brian Thompson in New York City, I am using the word “town” to depict the close-knit online national community of people who have overwhelmingly voiced approval to the murder, based on their disgust with the social abuse caused by America’s disparity of wealth.

Having such negative and evil comments weighing in at 90% of the responses to the murder and with so many reposts applauding the murder, this does not bode well for American society.  Truly a red flag for how insensitive and non-centerest of a position the people have shifted to.  America is truly becoming a tough town.

Our role as Christians, as Michael Edwards has said so many times, is to combat the negativity of the internet and to encourage and inspire others with Gospel messages.  But, with the extreme slide to the political left on the part of so many of our youth, adults, and many seniors, there is now the need to also write to draw out the devil in the details of such things as these responses about Thompson”s murder.  

Oh, that many would stand up for America in their writings, fortify their faith with prayer and call for His empowerment to do so adequately:
