I wrote this after two teens in my best friend's youth group died for no apparent reason.

The world is crumbling all around me.
Don't know why it had to be this way.
Lord why does this pain surround me?

And now I'm right back where I started.
Lord could there be
Some deeper meaning I can't see?
Something bigger reaching farther?

I just can't make it on my own.
So I fall before Your throne...

I'm coming back to this love I know.
Cause it's the only place I could ever go.
When the world around me falls apart
I can still come back to the peace in my heart.
Sometimes things just do not make sense.
Sometimes the pain simply will not relent.
Still so many things I don't understand,
But I know it's on this love that I stand.
This love I know.

Lord I know You have a plan.
And You are constant, never changing.
Sometimes I just can't see beyond myself.
I can't see the picture You are painting.

But I know Who You are.
And I've come so far.
And chains are all I left behind me.
Lord I trust You.
You've made me new,
And what I was only reminds me.

I've given You every part of me,
So I'll trust You with what I can't see...

I'm coming back to this love I know.
