And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, c but no one could heal her. She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. “Who touched me?” Jesus asked. When they all denied it, Peter said, “Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you.” But Jesus said, “Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me.” Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. Then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.” Luke 8:43-48 NIV

Jesus knew that power had gone out from Him. Why did He persist with His questioning of who touched Him? He could have just moved on, but He did not do so. He wanted the healed woman to come forth and share what had been done for her. This would bring glory to God, as she shared her testimony. Jesus took the time to tell her that it was her faith that hed healed her.

 God’s power can be released in so many ways if we will just retain our faith. I know at times it is very difficult to do so, but, if Jesus gave His life that you might have true life, do you not believe that He will provide for you in your time of need? What He provides may not be what you sought but believe me that which He provides is what you need. Have faith the size of a mustard seed.
