The Biblical Prophecies Start With The First Hebrew Word in Genesis, B’re’shiyth! – Not Verse 3:15
Isaiah 46:10 – Yahweh declares “At the beginning I make known the end from the beginning [H7225 re’shiyth], and from ancient times the things that are not yet done.”

You have heard it said that “the first prophecy in the Bible is in Genesis 3:15” – which states “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your descendant {seed} and her descendant {seed}; he will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel.” But that belief is not at all accurate – not even close – We do not have to wait until Genesis 3:15 for prophecy to begin being revealed!

Yahweh declares that prophecy starts at the beginning ^[H7225], so we should find prophecy right from the very first verse in the Bible, even from the first word, not three chapters later – and indeed we do as the first seven Hebrew words in the Bible are filled with prophecy, especially the very first word: B’re’shiyth! B’re’shiyth is the word re’shiyth ^[H7225] – preceded by the enlarged letter Bet – which means the first, in place, time, order or rank. In other words – in the beginning! Let’s take a closer look.

Words and Prophecies Found in the First Seven Words of the Torah
B’re’shiyth bara’ Elohiym et ha’shamayim w’et ha’erets
And is pronounced: Breh-sheet ba-ra El-oh-heem et ha-sha-ma-yeem w’et ha-a-retz

In the original Paleo – Hebrew, the Aleph / Tav (et) letters would look like an ox and a cross.

We know that Aleph-Tav is a title for Yeshua. This prophecy is confirmed according to Isaiah 41:4; Isaiah 44:6; Isaiah 48:12; and also Revelation 1:17 – “Don’t be afraid! I am the First and the Last.” It is also confirmed by Revelation 1:8; 21:6; and 22:13 – “I am the Alpha and the Omega.”

We also know that Yeshua will come twice, as prophesied by the two Aleph-Tavs. The first time Yeshua came is confirmed according to Romans 5:6; and 1 Timothy 2:6 – “At the right time, the Messiah died on behalf of ungodly people.” That Yeshua will come again a second time is confirmed according to Matthew 16:27; 24:40; & 26:64; Mark 13:26; & 14:62; Luke 21:27; Acts 1:11; and Revelation 1:7 – “They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven.”

And if we replace only the three Tavs then it looks like three crosses! We also know that the prophecy of three crosses is confirmed according to Matthew 27:38, Mark 15:27, and Luke 23:33 – “On execution stakes with Yeshua they placed two robbers, one on his right and one on his left.”

When the first seven words are written in the Paleo-Hebrew font, prophecy is revealed. We do not have to wait until Genesis 3:15 for prophecy to begin being revealed!!

More Prophecies
The first four words of the Torah are: B’re’shiyth bara Elohiym et. In English, “In the beginning Elohim created et!”, or “Elohim created the aleph-bet” – from which we get the English word: alphabet. Since Elohim created the Aleph-Tav before he created anything else, the Aleph-Tav is considered to be the primordial building block of all creation.

Et is an untranslatable word, spelled aleph-tav in Hebrew, but is a descriptor or title of Yeshua. It indicates that a definite direct object is next, therefore it must come before the heavens and before the earth, and indicates who created all: Yeshua, the Aleph-Tav. If the Aleph-Tav, or Yeshua, were to depart for even an instant, it is believed that all creation would disappear into absolute nothingness.

Prophetically speaking, this is confirmed according to Colossians 1:17 – “He existed before all things, and he holds everything together, ” and John 1:3 – “All things came to be through him, and without him nothing made had being,” just to name two. [See also Psalm 33:6; Ephesians 3:9; Colossians 1:16; and Hebrews 1:2].

The aleph alone has overtones of the “end of days” spoken of in prophecy. The numerical value of the aleph is 1 or 1,000, and each aleph is said to represent 1 day, or 1,000 years. There are six alephs in the first verse of the Torah, and this represents the six days of creation, and also the six thousand years of man’s time of stewardship before Yeshua returns to set up his millennial reign, his one thousand year rule. Remember, “With the Lord, one day is like a thousand years and a thousand years like one day” – 2 Peter 3:8. [See also Psalm 90:4].

The Waw, The Broken Waw, and The Messiah
The first use of the letter waw (also known as the vav) in Genesis 1:1 is in the sixth word, w’et [H853]. It is there that the waw is connected to the second aleph-tav in connection to Yeshua. It refers to the connection between all letters, the connection to the Aleph-Tav who is Yeshua, and is therefore the connecting force of Elohim, the divine “hook” that binds together heaven and earth.

And who does scripture say Yeshua is? 1 Timothy 2:5 tells us “For Elohiym is one, and there is one mediator between Yahweh and humankind, between heaven and earth, the man Yeshua Ha’Mashiach”! Hebrews 8:6 confirms this – “But now Yeshua has obtained a more excellent ministry, by as much as He is also the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises.” As does Hebrews 9:15 – “It is because of this death that Yeshua is mediator of a new covenant.”

The sixth word in Genesis is w’et – waw aleph tav – the God who is man, and who is pierced by man, who brings a covenant of peace (shalom). This prophecy of shalom can be found in Numbers 25:7-13, in the account of Pinchas, a type or pattern of Yeshua.

Numbers 25:12-13 – “I am giving him my covenant of shalom, making a covenant with him and his descendants after him that the office of cohen will be theirs forever. This is because he was zealous on behalf of his God and made atonement for the people of Israel.”
The word shalom [H7965] in this verse is written with a broken waw!

The broken waw represents the pierced hand of Messiah nailed to the cross to achieve our peace, our shalom!

More Words and Prophecies Found in the First Seven Hebrew Words
H410 'el
= God, as in El Shaddai, as the Superior or Indomitable Strength

H800 or H801 ishshah
= My fire, my sacrifice, and is only used in a liturgical sense.
i.e.: A burnt-offering, offering made by fire, a fire offering
My fire, inside the temple, would then be written in the Hebrew preceded by the letter bet.

H803 'ashuwyah
= to place a foundation, a purpose

H3050 Yah
= Yah, the sacred name. short for Yahweh

H3820 leb
= the heart the feelings, the will, and even the intellect, the center of all

Compilation of Words and Prophecies Found in the First Seven Hebrew Words
The prophecies below are all found in the first seven words of Torah
• Yeshua is the Aleph-Tav – the direct cause of creation (bara)!
• If the Aleph-Tav, or Yeshua, were to depart for even an instant, all creation would disappear into absolute nothingness!
• The two Aleph-Tav symbols prophecy Yeshua’s first and second comings!
• The six Aleph symbols prophecy 6,000 years of man’s time of stewardship!
• The three Tav symbols prophecy the three crosses found the crucifixion!
• The waw connected to the Aleph-Tav between the Heavens and the Earth is a prophecy of Yeshua, the man who mediates between mankind and God, between the Heavens and the Earth!
• The broken waw is a prophecy that Yeshua Ha’Mashiach will be broken for our sins!

Conclusions
Isaiah 46:9-10 – “I am Elohim, and there is none like me. At the beginning I make known the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done; and I say that my plan will hold, I will do everything I please to do”.

From the very beginning it has been Elohim’s plan to prophesy what will come to pass. He did not wait until the third chapter of the Bible to begin revealing those prophecies.

From the very first word, B’re’shiyth, the Biblical scriptures confirm that:
• Prophecy begins in the first verse of Genesis.
• The first seven Hebrew words in the Bible are filled with prophecy.
• You do not have to wait until Genesis 3:15 to find the first prophecy.
