Dear LORD,

You meet us in our darkest hours
with quietness and grace.
You sit beside us while we grieve
the losses that we face.

In silence Your heart mourns with ours
and tends to all our wounds.
You nourish us with tenderness
through sorrows we consume.

With vigilance and heartfelt care
You wash our woes away.
You give us hope where there is none
and rid us of dismay.

The tenderness and love You show
revives our hearts and souls.
It brings us from a darkened world—
a world that takes its toll.

Your kindness is encouraging
and fills our hearts with glee.
Your mercy is an act of grace
You give abundantly.

You bless us with such peace and joy—
You make us feel alive.
We’re ever grateful for the time
You help us to survive.

We praise and thank You, Father God—
for coming to our aid.
You never leave our sides, dear LORD—
we’re grateful that You’ve stayed.
