You had formed my innermost part,
Knitted together in the womb;
Gave me breath and started my heart,
And were able to see me bloom.

I praise You how I had been made,
Wonderfully Your creation;
Fearfully how I have obeyed,
Knowingly of my salvation.

As my soul knows it very well,
How wonderful are all Your deeds;
You have a purpose where I dwell,
I rest assured You meet my needs.

My frame was not hidden from You,
When I had been made in secret;
Wrought from the depths You did construe,
With free will on autopilot.

Your eyes saw my unformed substance,
Although it had been imperfect;
You were never in my absence,
No pain did you ever afflict.

The days that were formed unto me,
When as yet of them there was none;
Brought to life so that I could see,
Of a new birth that had begun.

How precious to me are Your thoughts,
How great is the amount of them;
The adversities and onslaughts,
That has attempted to condemn.

They are more than the grains of sand,
I am awake and still with You;
As I follow every command,
In knowing that they are all true.
