I will charge you in front of God,
Who will judge the living and dead;
To whom you should honor and laud,
Rather than your lusting instead.

When appearing in His Kingdom,
He hears if you’re preaching His Word;
So be ready for His wisdom,
His reprove and rebuke be heard.

With complete patience and teaching,
The time when people won’t endure;
With itching ears of your preaching,
Because Satan attempts to lure.

People are becoming uncouth,
And shall be turned unto fables;
No more listening to the truth,
Like wild steeds in the stables.

Remain to be sober-minded,
While enduring afflictions;
Do not let yourself be blinded,
Through the immoral addictions.

Do work as an evangelist,
And being poured out as a drink;
As a spiritual moralist,
Thoughts about Heaven that you think.

The departure time is at hand,
While I have fought the good fight;
I kept the faith of where I stand,
For the good Lord gave me insight.

A crown of righteousness awaits,
From the righteous judge of the Lord;
Since He is waiting at the gates,
To present to me my reward.
