Adam and Eve listened so intently and so openmindedly to the lies of the serpent so long ago, that their brains spilled out all over Eden's garden floor, poisoning the flowers with liquid lies. Up sprang from that seed the flagrant stinking weed of iniquity in the place of such fragrant beauty. Up sprouted an inclination to evil so evil that there arose a stubborn determination in their souls to retain their right to themselves for themselves, and for no one else but themselves.
