It takes some soul searching to see If I've been soul seeking for Thee or if I've been self-seeking for me. Though we oftentimes neglect Your Mercy Seat, its a good thing You don't neglect our mercy. May we be as those alive from the dead, weapons against wickedness, weapons in Your formidable arsenal against evil, ever ready and available to be gripped by Your mighty Hand for Your use. We are chosen, yes, but having been chosen obligates us to choose, to choose the good, to choose life over death, blessing over cursing. Chosen and called to be a scouting party into heaven, not a slumber party on the earth. It's copious, and extensive, expansive and expensive, what You purchased for us with Your very Lifeblood. More meaning and content has been packed into the exclamation of these two syllables in the English language than into any other two syllables ever uttered: JEEE-SUS!!!
