He Gave Me a Kiss

I ate a poison called sin
And I dropped dead
But the Prince of Peace came
And He gave me a kiss
Then I came alive

Scriptures to meditate on:
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

Maria, The first half of your poem describes the spiritual condition of 2/3 of the world's population. The second half is what could be for all of them who have the courage to leave the ranks of the non-Christians by seeking Christ as Savior. Well done!
