Signs

Our weather is crazy-
The seasons are out of whack-
To me, all these are signs
That He soon is coming back.

Earthquakes in strange places-
Droughts and famines everywhere-
To me, all these are signs
But most people aren't aware.

False prophets have appeared-
I hear of wars beginning-
To me, all these are signs
But others go on sinning.

No one seems to believe-
It's just like in Noah's day-
To me, all these are signs
That He could come back today.

Matthew 24:3-8 (NIV)

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives,
the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us,"
they said, "when will this happen, and what will
be the sign of your coming and of the end of the
age?" Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one
deceives you. For many will come in my name,
claiming, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many.
You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see
to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must
happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will
rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
There will be famines and earthquakes in various
places. All these are the beginning of birth pains."

Luke 17:26-27 (NIV)

"Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it
be in the days of the Son of Man. People were eating,
drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to
the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and
destroyed them all."

Today, do you see the signs that Jesus is coming back?
